Lakewood Engineering Gasoline Locomotives
Lakewood Engineering Co. eventually made an agreement with Burton Locomotive Company (Burton Engineering & Machinery Co. of Cincinnati, Ohio) 1921 to manufacture the line of gasoline locomotives.
 
The Lakewood-Burton Locomotive were offered in
2 sizes: 3-1/2 ton that sold for $2,250 in 1920 (Burton Class D)
and 6 ton models
Gauges 18, 24, 30, 36, 42 & 56-1/2 inch
 
The above picture is not an original Burton design which means Lakewood  also could have built gasoline locomotives or contracated with a different builder.
